Have you ever had to ask your child to play with a toy? Of course not. Kids play with toys because they like the toy, and the world it creates for them.
It is the same with the piano. You can make it an object of drudgery, or a favored toy to which the child gravitates.
And chords, which are groups of three keys usually played with the left hand, are readily understood by kids, which is fortunate, because chords are the basis of all musical construction.
